Investigation results
Since 2004, the responsibility for and the authority to conduct railway safety investigations has been placed at the AIB.
In general
The railway safety investigations results are available via the investigation results in the main menu, where you can search for reports, bulletins and statements dating back to 2015.
Investigations up to 2004
Prior to 1996, investigations were conducted by the individual railway undertakings, primarily Danish Railways (DSB). From 1 August 1996 to 30 June 2004, a special unit (Jernbanetilsynet) investigated railway accidents and incidents.
Investigation results from the period prior to 2015 are not available from the Danish Accident Investigation Board. For these investigation records, please refer to the Danish National Archives.
